Q. Which airport do attendees fly into?
A. The closest airport is Kona International Airport (KOA). Sheraton Kona Resort & Spa is approximately 20-minutes south of the airport (depending on arrival time of day).
Q. What destinations offer flights to Hawaii?
A. There are many cities of origin with non-stop or direct flights to Honolulu (HNL) and/or to Kona (KOA). These include Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York, Phoenix, San Francisco, Oakland, and Seattle. There are also certain seasonal flights that increase airlift options. An interisland flight to KOA from HNL is just 40-minutes.
Q. What are group transfers charges from KOA?
A. Pre-arranged ground transportation for groups can be made by local transportation companies including Roberts Hawaii Express, Big Island Transportation, and SpeediShuttle. Our Conference Services Department can assist you with obtaining pricing.

A. Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, Mauna Kea Summit, Snorkel or Dive trip to Kealakekua Bay, Helicopter Tours, visit to Kona Coffee farm(s), snorkeling with Manta Rays to name a few.
Q. When is the best time to book a meeting for great opportunities?
A. April, May, September, November, and the first two weeks of December tend to be value seasons for the Big Island.
Q. Where are the nearest Shopping and Dining opportunities?
A. Keauhou Shopping Center is a 5 minute drive with shops, restaurants and theatre complex. Historic Kailua Village with waterfront dining, shopping, Hulihee Palace and more is just 6 miles north of Sheraton Kona Resort & Spa. Access to both is also available via the complimentary Keauhou-Kona trolley.
Q. Does Sheraton Kona Resort & Spa provide a shuttle to town?
A. The hotel offers the Keauhou-Kona trolley to and from Historic Kailua Village with stops along the way. Trolley use is included in the daily resort fee for all hotel guests.
Q. Is there a full service Spa onsite?
A. Yes, Hoola Spa is located onsite with 6 -treatment rooms including Vichy showers, dry & steam showers, Himlayan Salt Room, hair and nail salon, whirlpool and full body and facial treatments.
