Airport Transfers / Driving Directions

For our guests arriving at the Kona International Airport at Keahole, transfers are available via the following options in addition to renting your own vehicle. For those not renting you may take:

Roberts Hawaii Express Shuttle: This shuttle provides a convenient mode of transportation between the Kona International Airport (KOA) and Sheraton Kona Resort & Spa. Reservations are powered by Roberts Hawaii. Their service includes an airport representative who will meet and greet you upon exiting the security area and escort you to baggage claim. You will be provided luggage/porter service at the baggage claim area. Roberts Hawaii Express Shuttle guarantees no more than 5 stops to your hotel destination.
Cost: $33 per person one way or $62 round trip. Includes 2 standard pieces of luggage and one carry on. Oversized luggage fees may apply. Book now. You may also email or contact Roberts Express toll free (US/Canada) at 866-570-2536.

Taxi: There are taxi dispatch personnel near baggage claim.
Estimated travel time via taxi from airport: 20-40 minutes*

Driving Directions from Kona International Airport:
Turn right on to Queen Ka'ahumanu Highway (Highway 19). Remain on "Queen K" as it becomes Kuakini Highway (Highway 11) for 11.7 approximately 12 miles. As you head up a slight incline, get in the right lane and turn right onto Kamehameha III Road at the lighted intersection. Follow "Kam III Road" to the 2nd light which is Ali'i Drive, where you'll turn left. Follow Ali'i Drive past Kona Country Club golf course & club house. At the next traffic light turn right onto Kaleiopapa Street. Ehukai Street and the entrance to Sheraton Kona are just at the bottom and to your left.
