Oceanfront island-inspired cuisine and creative cocktails are the defining focus of the menu at Rays on the Bay with an emphasis on farm-to-table and hook-to-cook freshness.
Imagine the rich flavors of world-famous Kona coffee, paakai (sea salt), coconut, mango, pohole fern shoots, and sea asparagus all grown in Hawaii's lava-rich soil and prepared in this native region, packed with flavor and culinary history. Imagine ahi, ono or monchong caught this very day in the waters just offshore.
Now imagine that delicious fare coupled with Rays on the Bay natural open-air atmosphere offering endless ocean views and romantic sunsets unlike anywhere else.
Rays on the Bay is the only Hawaii Island restaurant built on lava cliffs so close to the ocean it offers a perfect view to Keauhou’s resident manta rays feeding offshore in their natural habitat.
Enjoy live music nightly from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. by local island artists while savoring pupus (appetizers), dinner and a fabulously diverse selection of cocktails, wines and beers.
Dinner menu is available 5:30 p.m. until last seating at 9:30 p.m. Guests are accommodated on a walk-in basis. Reservations accepted (808) 930-4900. Oceanside and firepits are first come - first serve.
Special early bird $30 three-course menu offered from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. during our social hour, along with wine-tastings that begin every night at 5:30 p.m. for just $5 per person. Each guest receives two 2-ounce pours.
Rays on the Bay bar is open nightly until 11 p.m.
Complimentary valet parking is offered to the public enjoying Rays on the Bay.
Just coming to see the Keauhou Manta Rays? First, enjoy the Sheraton Kona's newest experience, our Manta Talks, at 7 p.m. in the Manta Ray Learning Center adjacent to Rays on the Bay. After dinner, see the majestic rays swimming in their natural environment at Paakai Point. As you view the manta rays, enjoy a refreshing libation from Rays on the Bay!
